Hi I got at 1935 stock flathead engine. My dist is bad and I found a good 1937 dist. I know the advance curve is different. Is there any issues that I need to be aware of. Is seem to ping a lot more?

Hi Im trying to dismantle my 1935 water pumps for a rebuild. The pulleys are without a pulley pin and seams to be pressed on. Can I press the propeller axel back in a vise where after the pulley will come off and the propeller can be removed from the back side ?? Please advise me - thanks!
