    brake board adjustments

This on a 1936 model 68. Aside from all the pro's cons of the brake board approach, I did use one adusted all as described, however when i removed the board after the "third" step adjustment, the rears were still locked. I am assuming the problem is the rod length and I should "shorten" the...

    1936 mechanical fuel pump

I have rebuilt a 36 fuel pump. The eye on the diaphram is not perpendicular to the pump arm. The holes on also did not line up on such diaphram. put back but does not seem to draw fuel. I saw on older post to try "twisting " the diaphram by putting in a vice, thereby removing any friction on...

    1936 exhaust installation

I've seen here that by letting the front suspension hang, you could snake in the original exhaust pipe between spring and axel. Mine not hanging quite enough ( short by about 1/2 inch) any way to increase that gap? May need to remove the suspension link, however that is becoming an issue as not...

I've got car on jacks from frame, trying to remove suspension links. Do I need to put weight on the spring to hammer out the links to reduce the pressure from "hanging" with car jacked up. Or should I just jack car from axle?
