Thank ou solved problem with original switch from 28 special coupe I am restoring but the problem will re arise when its time to replace it in the coupe.

Twice today on starting the starter engaged, engine did not catch but starter whirled until rapped with mallet? Cause? Thank you Tom

Have a 29 Briggs that has been converted to 12 volt. The wind shield wiper is an original 6 volt. It works fine when connected to 6 volt battery. However when hooked to a voltage reducer it will not operate. Ground is good and lead from the voltage reducer is good. What am I missing? Thanks Tom

How does one prep the wood for body color? Use regular auto primer and then body color or wood primer then body color?

Is body color correct for the cab and bed wood on a 29 PU? Also how does one prep the wood. Use regular wood primer and spray auto paint or auto prime and then top coat? Thank you
