Well the ****** drain & fill and the overdrive fill plugs were in good shape, but the differential drain plug is boogered up. EZout time I reckon... I love these old cars... :-)

I have a 53 mainline 239 with the stock 3 speed transmission and stock overdrive. I drained the ****** and have refilled it and noticed a "fill plug" on the side of the overdrive but no drain plug. Do the ****** and overdrive in a stock set up share the ****** oil? Thanks, Kevin

I have been searching through threads trying to find what the correct lube is for my 53 Mainline original 3 speed with overdrive, and original rear end. Tough time figuring this simple thing out, the search seems to take me into random posts. What oil do you recommend? I used 600w in my Model A...

I know where the overdrive cable connects to the transmission, but where is the correct position for the bracket and handle in a 53 Customline? I picture would be helpful. Thanks, Kevin

This is embarrassing, but I can not figure out how to connect my horn on my 53 Mainline. The car is 12 volt negative ground, otherwise stock. The car was completely rewired before I bought it, but no accommodations were made for the horn. There is a wire that comes out of the steering column...
