Could someone point me in the direction of a flathead rebuilder in Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, or southern Michigan? I'd like to deliver the engine and I live in northern Illinois...
 
Old timer that did my owns Land Air in Arlington Hts ILL. Not cheap but excellent work. Self contained machine shop and does his own work. To my knowledge only out sources the balancing.His shop is a step back in time...Pay him a visit, his name is John. One of the few guys that still does babbit bearings when needed.....Very nice and helpful.
 
Call Matt or Cotton Worksmen at Fox Vally Hotrods in Barrington Il they are flathead and Ardun engine builders and bitchen place to check out.
