I did not see a Model A in the video. I really liked the song also, good to see people with a good sense of humor.

Thanks Mike for your information. I have a 1931 4DR. Phaeton and this is the first Model A that I have tried to restore. I cannot wait to add this book to my collection.

I have several books on the Model A but I do not have Les Pearsons book, Complete Model A Restoration Manual. Could anyone tell me if this book would be a good addition to my library? Looks like there are several good pictures. Thanks for your help.

Sorry for your loss Bill. I pray that God will take away the pain and give you strength to deal with this loss of your son.

There is a Model A Ford Club near Cincinnati called Ohio Valley Region, PO Box 62303, Sharonville, Ohio 45241. They have a lot of talented members that have done this or know someone that does this type of work.

I would like to offer my thanks also to all of the Fordbarn members who offer this invaluable help. I have been around Model A's for years but haven't done that much restoration work yet. Hopefully when I get more experience I will be able to pass along what I have learned to someone who needs...

Thanks to all of you for your help and information. Tonight I logged into Fordbarn and the advertisements are gone I don't know where they went or why they appeared in the first, but for now things are better. It's nice to have a site like Fordbarn for help if you need it. Thanks again.

The last couple days I have been getting advertisements between posts on Fordbarn. There is a box where you can click to eliminate further advertisements, but I do not know where this is coming from or if this was sponsored by Fordbarn. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any help.

Happy birthday Tom hope you have many more. May you always stay healthy and well enough to work on your Model A anytime you feel like it. Thanks for all the wealth of information you provide.

I think for the money you got a pretty good buy. Looks like a pretty solid body. I have seen sedans like yours bring 4-5 thousand on Ebay. Good luck with your project.

I had an old pair of pliers and used Plasti Dip on the handles, about five coats and they really turned out pretty nice. Home Depot quit selling this product so I ordered a can of black at Napa Auto parts. It has a lot of uses around the garage. I think using Plasti Dip on the roofing nails...

I live in Dayton, Ohio and we have a member in our Model A club named Mike Bogart who lives in Troy, Ohio. He does all types of work on the Model A except body work. He did the babbit work on my engine and even made bushings for my camshaft because the journals were oversize. He did a pretty...

Rusty, I am glad you ask this question about the stud welder. I bought a HF stud welder to pull out dents on my 31 phaeton doors but I never thought about using this stud welder to shrink sheet metal. I will give this a try to see how it works. Thanks.

Our club meets in a small town at the local government civic center. The police dept. is located in that building and they rent the meeting room to our club for $15.00 a month. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00. We usually have 60-70 members show up each meeting.

Jake, your body work really looks nice. It looks like you are using a mig welder. I was wondering if you would show the tool that you use to get those clean cuts when you cutout the old sheet metal. Thanks.

I have some that are similar that were on a horse drawn buggy. Since you have four matching steps, I would say yours came from a horse drawn carriage, with the two seats.

I think a lot of these medallions were lost alongside the roadways. Roger Kauffman was a member in our Model A club would find these medallions along with other Model A parts while doing road maintenance for the state.

I received my catalog here in Ohio on Monday. Bratton's goes out of their way to be fair and honest. I once ordered a new set of head studs and when they arrived the two longer studs were replaced with two short studs. When I called to tell them about this, they said to keep the studs I received...

You should be really proud of yourself. Your story sounds a lot like mine. I bought my phaeton in 96 and I am just getting the engine finished. I hope to go for a spin this summer. Beautiful Model A.

Very nice work. Easier to understand with good pictures. I made a copy for future reference. Thanks
