    gap between body and frame.

Is it normal to have such a big difference between the front of the body and the rear? I ask this because on the front there is no gap and on the rear part ( in front of rear fender) it looks like about a inch gap. Could this be why my hood has a large gap at the bottom?

    water pump pic.

My water pump has a lot of end play and I want to change it. When I got the car, there was a water pump included with the spare parts and I would like to know if the collar is in the right spot. It looks like it's been rebuilt. I am also thinking about changing the four blade fan for a two...

    16" to 19" wheels

My 30 tudor has a set of 16" wheels and firestone tires, but he also tossed in a good set of stock 19" wheels with firestones. If I switch to the 19" will I notice a big difference in the ride or steering? Any advantage to running either size? Thanks.

    front fender dents from pebbles

I noticed that I am getting a lot of little reverse dings on my front fenders from pebbles being tossed up from the tires. Is there anything I can coat the underside of the fenders with? I am running firestones on 16" rims and I assume the tread design is the problem. Thanks

    auxiliary gas tank

Is anyone using a auxiliary gas tank along with the stock one? If so, how did you tie them together? My Tudor came with a 9 gallon one mounted under the rear of the car and am thinking about hooking it up. Thanks.

    cracked block

Well, I was pulling the intake and header off my b motor and spotted what appears to be a cracked block. Don't know if this is common or not. I am starting to think that I paid to much for this car. Thanks

    another rear main seal leaking.

I was looking through all the receipts that came with my car and it seems that I have a Taylor built b engine with a whole list of stuff on the build sheet done to it. Among other things, they machined the thing to accept a chevy rear seal. My question is, can I just drop the pan and rear cap to...

    ca blue vin plate question.

I tried to get my A put in my name at AAA today and got to go to CHP to get a vin verification done, because AAA needs to see the vin numbers in 2 different spots. My car came with a AZ title, but must have been titled in CA before, because it has a CA blue DMV vin sticker on the door jam. My...

Do I have the right front crossmember?

I was looking at why my hood alignment is off and thought that maybe the radiator could be lowered a little to lose the gap at lower cowl. I read that my year 1930 should have a recess where the radiator mounts, but I only see a raised mounting pad where the rad sits. Also I don't know if it...

    rtv or jb weld?

I am trying to stop a oil leak in the rear of my model b transmission. I know that they make new shafts with o rings to fix the problem, but I want to get to know my new to me a and put some more miles on it before I have to take it apart. I am thinking about either using rtv or jb weld to a...

    My first model A

At 66 years old, I can finally cross this off my bucket list. After a 12 hour road trip to AZ and back, I am now the owner of a 30 tudor. I guess that they built this as a car to tour in. It has a B engine that has a list of stuff done to it, a B trans with they told me has 39 gears, bigger...
