The rust out in 2 cylinders is significant, the motor smokes some. I guess the question should be is .80 over the limit for a 21 stud? can it be sleeved, can it be all sleeved to 24 stud size?

36 21 stud. I removed the head to repair a cross threaded plug hole, and found that the cylinders have rust damage. Its allready .80 over. What should I do with this motor?

This hub has two cut grooves at the top, am I missing a retaining ring?

I need more info on this. will it bolt up? It seems to be less wide in the tube. Lengthwise it should be correct.

I have a '28 roadster on '32 frame with a '37 rear end. A while ago I broke my drive shaft and took the opportunity to rebuild the whole rear end correctly. I just found out my torque tube is warped from heat distortion from welding radius rod mount on, this probably caused the drive shaft...

Is a stock 32 ford torque tube a direct replacement? will the later(40's) driveshaft and 48" radius rods work with it? this is in a 32 frame.

My is torque tube is bent. apparently, the torque tube bent when it drew up while cooling from welding the radius rod lug back on.

The tube was cut down on a lathe, it's not out of round. Note that it's on its side. It bolts up but its binding.

My shortened torque tube is binding up(42 rear/tube, 32 frame). Does shorting the torque tube change the geometry? Is my new center bearing misaligned? Or considering the torque tube is shortened should I not run a center bearing at all?

I'm putting my banjo rear together again and the axles seem to be tight in the carter housing. they barely turn (opposite direction) by hand. is there a rule of thumb on how tight they should be? This a 37' rear, rebuilt with all NOS/New parts. 18 tooth axle, 12 tooth spider.

Whaddya know... one's short. I should have measured them. I guess I figured since I'm paying a premium for NOS axles I'd at least get sent the correct ones.

Ok, looks like the driver side is correct(4-1/4") but the passenger side is short(3-5/8). So it's 5/8" short on the right side.
