OCMAFC 55 Pancake Breakfast

The 55th Annual Orange County Model A Ford Club, Pancake Breakfast will be held on April 10th of 2016; 8am to 11am. The event will again be at Hart Park in the city of Orange, CA. and normally draws upwards of 300 Model A vehicles. Attendees enjoy a great pancake breakfast and raffle while visiting with fellow Model A enthusiasts. The breakfast price is $6 per adult; parking is free. Hope to see you there. I've been watching the videos from previous years on YouTube a lot lately. Looking forward to this years videos.

Cooter, The OCMAFC flyer says to contact Frank Reese at 714-348-2507 for more info. If it is raining I think we will reluctantly pass or take our Modern. (We're worried about RAIN in Southern California?)

For some reason this doesn't excite me...

I hope they reschedule this Great Event to the following Sunday as its 80% chance of rain in California. In fact it going to rain here for the next 4 days straight.
Very few Model A People will bring out their Cars is this kind of Weather and I don't Blame them.

If you look at the Google map of Hart Park the parking lot is a paved section of the Santiago Creek which is normally dry but in a downpour it can become WET... (see picture I posted above).

I too hope they reschedule.
 
Yes, after a lot of the Rain we are getting on Saturday the Grass areas will turn into muddy mess. I really doubt the turnout will be decent and even worth going if they don't reschedule this Great Event.
Who really wants to put there Model A in the Rain let alone walk around in a Muddy Grass.
 
I called and talked to Frank.
It sounds like there may be a decision tonight on the possibility of rain. I understand that if there is a threat of rain, that the city might not allow access to the parking area because it has the water channel.

Hi,
The Orange County Model A Ford Club's Pancake Breakfast will be held this Sunday morning (4-10-2016) as advertised!
The latest weather report shows no rain on Sunday. :)
The line for breakfast forms at 7:30am and Breakfast starts at 8:00am, priced the same as last year $6/adult, $3/child
Hope to see you at the breakfast!!
 
Not sure what weather they are looking at it. It's definitely Raining this Sunday! Plus windy!
If they expect any kind of real turn out they should reschedule this Great Event to the following Sunday.

These cars have been driven all over the world, in all weather conditions, for 85 plus years. If it does get wet, wipe it down when ya get home.
No windows, no curtains, but I'll be there, barring breakdown or needing chains.
