in ny, if your registering your car as historical, with '30's plates, they cannot be repainted...

what do you run in your model a engine so it doesn't get destroyed by ethanol in the gas. maybe I should run some of my r/c engine fuel..nitro-something in it.

i found a pair of 15 inch wheels with 5 1/2 bolt pattern. will they fit on the front of a 1930 a with stock brake drums?

I have a 1930 A with a 12v conversion kit. the amp gauge reads over 20 amps at all times and the alternator gets hot. it has a new battery. any suggestions?

i installed a 12v coversion kit in my 1930 model a. it came with a one wire internally regulated alt. the kit also came with a 30 amp ammeter. when running at med. to fast idle, the amp gauge pegs at 30. the alternator is a 60 amp. what gives? any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks
