I took mine to a lock-smith.Didn't even know what kind of key was used but,he worked it out.Only charged me for cutting the keys. You might try that befor taking it apart. Bud 73

I have used one and like it on my daily driver '29 Tudor.GAV will not hook up as the thumb screw is on the foreward side of the carb but, the choke rod hooks up as origionally.If you're not concerned about a"looks origional" carb this one works very well. 73 BP

I too had one returned to me cracked....after sand blasting.A crack I hadn't seen because of paint and dirt.It hadn't gotten to the powder coat process.It otherwise looked like a good wheel,so close inspection is warranted. Bud

Buzz,I have replaced only a rear quarter pane in my '29 Tudor. The one that came out is 16 and a quarter by 30 and 3 quarters inches. Corners were only sanded to soften the points a bit. Hope this helps. Buddy P. KI4BR

I had a Dodge Brothers sedan that had been cut up to be a pick-up truck. When I pulled it out of the field,it had three flat tires and one that was fully inflated....with small logs,cut to fit the shape of the tire.I doubt it would ever go flat. Buddy P.

Gentlemen;I have seen Marco' tutorial on roof replacement and it looked like NEW tack strip on the Tudor he featured.Can the tack strip(nails actually)be salvaged?And will the metal trim actually go back on? I would really prefer it to the hidem type trim. Thanks for your help. KI4BR Bud

That windshield garnish plate was a trick to remove....anticipated mucho trouble when the first screw broke after making only half a turn out....I can fix it! Thanks again....The knowledge and experteze(sp) out there is considerable and it's great of you "veteran" doers,so willing to help us...

I'm using one of those and am having no problems with it.It's on a '29 open cab pick-up.Setting the adjustments may take several trys but when you get them right it's a fine carb.KI4BR,Bud
