Y-Blockhead wins. I verified this is a service replacement part manufactured in '69 for a Y-Block. I picked up a later model rotor and cap specified for a 1958 Y-Block and it drop right in. Thanks for the replies Mike

Does this appear to be a correct statement? I think I figured out the distributor issue.....The distributor that I have was for a '57 plus y-block as far as the rotor button goes. I finally found the code for the part number on the distributor C9ZF-12131-A. The C9 indicates a '69 manufacture...

Thanks for all of the input. I'm looking at an Isky 301444 camshaft. It's supposed to be a little more that stock but not much. Its going into a truck that will remain in stock form with the 3 speed and original rear end. Thanks Again
