Does the throw out bearing just friction fit into the throw out bearing housing? Mine seeme to be a loose fit to the housing, and the new bearing is so stiff, that the whole bearing spins in the housing, when I depress the clutch pedal. I am seeking guidance please. Thank You.

On the 29 pickup, going from AA transmission to A transmission. I can't get to the truck until some snow melts. So... I am wondering if I need a 29 A transmission top, (with the centered E brake ) or will a 30 - 31 E brake line up in the pickup? Thank You; Brian

A friend of mine has a 28 pickup, which he bought in baskets. It had a AA transmission, however the seller kept it as part l of the deal. Can a car transmission and bell housing be used without any modifications? If not, what are up against?
