    For Sale 35 block

Was in a 34 I bought in May. Drove it a couple hundred miles. Oil pressure was not great but sounded good. Rods marked so it has been apart. Will keep it for a couple weeks if someone wants to come and get it.

    Torque tube cap

Pulled V8 engine and transmission from a 34. The torque tube clam shell cap was one piece instead of two piece that bolt together. Is this an aftermarket part. I just found a DavigG post from 2018 and he explains that the 2 piece clam shell did not come until 1935. A heavenly Thanx to the...

Those were the days my friends!

I received some LB upholstery instructions from TJ a couple months ago. The package included the receipt for an LB kit for a Model A Tudor. Ordered in April of 1979 and delivered in July. Amazing what inflation did before Labarron Bonney folded approximately 44 years later. A sad day for all.

No wonder about oil capacity confusion

Both of these dipsticks came from 2 different 1937 221 V8 engines. The pans are identical on both engines. Both are stepped pans. The dipsticks are the same length. I asked AI and it confirmed the lengths to be correct. The one on top in the picture is the one 3rd Gen shows as the proper part...

    Dazed and confused

When installing a 37 engine with 36 heads and block off plates, can the 34 water outlet/mount be used? Different suppliers sell spacers/offsets etc. and I cannot seem to figure out what the differences are. I have a 37 engine with block off plates and what I think are 35/36 outlet/mounts...

    Fuel pump pressure

I have assumed from all the good information on this site that fuel pump pressure for the 97 is best about 2-3. When a new, say 1938 Ford left the factory, were pump pressures significantly higher? When CharlieNY set my last pump at about 2-1/2, I wonder what he does to adjust from a higher...

    Rear transmission support mount 5089

I have studied the Green book and am having trouble to see if the 5089 mount is the same for 36 and 37 commercial. It shows the 35 and 36 but I see no reference for 1937.
