Have a 51 ford with a 3 speed manual... It seems in first gear only when leaving from a stand still I get a little chatter and shake from the clutch.. Here's a quick kinda amature question ..... I pulled the mechanical fuel pump off my 51 8BA ..... It had a fibre gasket that tore from where pump mounts to the upright where arm and pump rod meet .... I hope that makes sense I'm kinda new to this.... Anyhow would it hurt to leave out the gasket...
