    1935 Ford transmission.

I'm looking at page 22 of "The Ins and Outs of Early Ford Transmissions" by Mac Van Pelt. In figures 48-55. The 7071 thrust washer should slide on until you get it to where it can be rotated. Then you slide the bushing on until the hole in the shaft lines up with the hole in the bushing which...

    35 Ford transmission

When I'm looking at the synchronizer it looks like the groove for the shifter fork is centered between the two side. One side has a raised shoulder around 1/16" high. When you place the synchronizer on the main shaft does the small shoulder face the front of the transmission or rear of the...

    1936 Ford tools

I have all the tools and I put them in the trunk. The smaller tools are in a tool pouch but the larger tools like the jack, jack handle, tire pump, etc. are just laying in the trunk. I can't imagine that when you bought a new 1936 and opened the trunk you would find the tools scattered around...

    I'm looking for a 39 Convertible coupe.

I'm looking for an older restoration car. I'm ok with it needing mechanical work. I just want the body to be solid, no rot. Minor dings are fine. I want the frame to be solid with no plates welded where the frame rotted.

I don't mind if it's a very old restoration with mechanical issues or if the paint is scratched. I want one that has a good frame, no plates welded where the frame has rotted and I want all the sheet metal to be solid, no rot. I just don't want to do a frame off restoration and I don't want to...
