I don't mind if it's a very old restoration with mechanical issues or if the paint is scratched.
I want one that has a good frame, no plates welded where the frame has rotted and I want all the sheet metal to be solid, no rot. I just don't want to do a frame off restoration and I don't want to do body work. I've done enough of that. I just want one I can drive and putter with.
I don't even care if it needs a new engine. I like doing mechanical work but as I said above I've had it with body work.
Oh yes, it would be nice if it was in the New England area but that's not a deal breaker.
