Blew my ammeter and ordered a 30 because I also purchased a 30 amp alternator. The alternator is on back order but was wondering if I can install the 30 ammeter with the original generator in place?:confused:

I've narrowed my no spark trouble to the terminal box. I wired it correctly and all the connections on both posts look fine, but when I push and pull on the amp meter wires it looses amps. I'm goin NUTS! Is the box supposed to be grounded?:mad:

Something in the dash is making my ignition cut out. It runs fine until I lift the dash up to bolt it in, and before I even get it in place it cuts out, Im goin nuts!

Do you guys ever install a screw at the front of the splash apron to keep it flat to the frame. I noticed when I pulled my cab off to repair it the front apron was curled up from the weight of the cab. Cant see as it would hurt.

The 30 pickup calls for the front fender to be mounted under the rubber pad of the radiator bracket in the recessed cross member. If I mount it this way it will bend the fender when I tighten the spring back down. Couldn't I mount the fender ON TOP of the radiator bracket with a washer and or...

Ya know the thin nut that rides on one thread for the gas bowl? They suck! lol. I found a shallow nut that rides on 4 threads and used medium lock tight.

I know I know, here we go again............Should have researched this BEFORE buying. Im trying to install my aftermarket cowl band on the 30 pickup I bought from MAC's. No amount of reshaping is going to make this chunk of crap fit. Any after market cowl bands out there that fit?

Was getting ready to put the cab back on my pickup and found a crack in my throttle linkage. Are these steel or cast iron. Need to repair before the cab goes back on.
