30 pickup cowl lacing

Im ordering cowl lacing for the 30 pickup. But all the kits come with rivets, I have no holes for rivets..........:confused:

cowl lacing is solid you have to drill holes for the screws to go through the lacing with the rivets is for the radiator cover in the front

LOL, just found the kit and figured that out. Too many new parts to keep track of. Ill do a search on installation. Thank you.
 
The '30 & '31 cowls have a small hook that gets riveted onto the COWL LACING and hooks the ends of the lacing into the slots at bottom of cowl. The two pan head screws on either side of cowl sets the tension of the cowl lacing. The radiator lacing is different and uses smaller, raven finished split rivets.
