why did he put all those bolts in the dash rail..... I dont know if anyone has had the pleasure of the nuts rusting up on the little area between the dash and where the window seats but it sucks...... theres like 10 of them and I only was ableto get 4 the rest is seized up.... howdoyou get them...

Ok how do I know if the bushings in the distributor need replace? Im in the process of trying to get and keep my model a running as I just got it tagged and a title so Im finally legal to roam the streets. I Have to advance the distributor quit a bit to keep it running

I have heard you can bend a crank by not storing it correctly out of the block so....... what is the correct way, right now I have them standing straight up in the corner of my shop as far as the cam I dont want them to rust could I coat it in assembly lube and saranwrap it

I just wanted to publicly thank russ/40 for his kindness….I just joined the forum and was asking some advice on some valves and getting my flathead running and he offered up to grind my valves for free I sent him some extra valves with the instructions that there just incase there is a problem...

Im pulling the horse shoe clips out of a 8ba I bought the other day and I have been breaking the tabs off of them and not evan budging the clip.....Ive done the same things on other engines but not as bad..... I hook the tab and with the tool up right I hit down with a hammer and bam tab comes...

Ok I need to remove the spring from a valve assembly on my 8ba what tool do I need(pics please) I was using a old model a spring tool I got at a yard sale but it broke so I need to get the RIGHT too for the job.....or if you have a easy way to get them off without the tool...

Ok hear it is I pulled the valve assembly out of all 16 holes and just left them loose in the block....I usually have a way of marking them so I can put them back in there bores when the block is cleaned but on this day it didn’t happen that way..... My son who loves to come out in the garage...
