Hi - in 1927-28, Ford introduced colours to his paint option (black!). I once restored a '27 touring in Ford maroon and would like to use it on a 1931 cabriolet that I am working on.
What I need is a paint code. Thank you in advance.
I have a left front mounted crankcase ventilator (just behind the fuel pump) that constanly leaks. After sitting overnight, there is always a puddle on the floor. I have no idea how much oil escapes while driving. Why is this happening? It seems to be complete including the mesh filter.
These clips fasten the stainless steel moulding at the front of the top (and cover the top fabric), They are 2 inches by 1 inch with the bolt centred in the clip - 8 are needed.
Where can I get them?

I put Wilwood brakes on a 1914 Model T - they work great. I keep saying that there is nothing wrong with Model T brakes ....as long as you only have Model T's on the road!

I loosened off everthing and tried to raise the door glass by hand but the glass would not go higher. That makes me think that the equalizer arm bracket needs to be raised. What I may try (pending more responses), is to release the arm from the equalizer bracket to see if that makes a...
57 Ford convertible - Currently under restoration. I cannot get the door windows to go all the way to the top. They are OK at the front and meet the top of the vent windows but are about an inch too low at the rear.. All the parts I'm using are good used with some reproduced parts. There doesn't...
Hi - these scuff plates (11A-7013250-PR) have been out of production for several years. Does anyone know a source, has a set sitting on a shelf, or has a good used set?
Thanks, Andrew in Ontario

Hi all - I have had a set of scuff plates (11A-7013250-PR) for a 1941 Mercury convertible on back order for over a year and a half with no idea when new stock will arrive. Is there another scuff plate that will work even if I have to reduce the length to fit? The original is 42 3/4 inches long...
There is nothing wrong with Model "T" brakes as long as the only car on the road is another Model "T"! I put disc brakes on the rear of my "T" and they work great. I've had too many yahoos pass and then slow down to make a turn in front of me. I'd rather be a realist than a dead purist.

I need the piece of stainless trim that goes from the hood ornament to the "Mercury" nose at the front of the hood for a 1941 Mercury - it is about 10.5 inches long. I have the full length piece about 62 inches long that goes from the rear of the hood to the "Mercury" nose casting. I would hate...
