I need the piece of stainless trim that goes from the hood ornament to the "Mercury" nose at the front of the hood for a 1941 Mercury - it is about 10.5 inches long. I have the full length piece about 62 inches long that goes from the rear of the hood to the "Mercury" nose casting. I would hate to cut it just for the short piece that I need so if we can do a swap ....
