Inner fender to fender rubber seal

All the normal suppliers sell both stainless and regular staples. I bought the stainless. They are a little to big wire diameter so I drilled all the original holes and put them in. I actually drilled the new rubber to match also. Then bent them over with 2 pairs of plyers.

    Vent window rivet setter.

In a different but similar situation I ground down the head of the rivet gun. Buy a cheap one at harbor freight and dont worry if you ruin the head. I still use the one I modified.

I am trying to install in 55 club sedan. What am I missing? When I slide the column over the steering shaft there is a space between the shaft and the I.D. of the column. Also when I put the steering wheel on, it hits the turn signal housing. Is there a roller bearing or bushing that goes at the...

    fordo torque converter

Thanks dmsfrr, A trans shop did it but not open today. I think I can use a fluid pump like we use for rear end oil. Or just pull it back out. It is heavy.

    fordo torque converter

I am putting a original rebuilt trans and torque converter back in my 1955 fairlane. Do I have to put fluid in the converter before bolting the transmission in? I didnt think about this until I after I bolted the converter and bell housing to the engine. P.S. what type fluid to use? Thanks Jim
