    Straighten a 14T front wheel

Anyone know how to straighten a front wheel on a T? It appears that the rim is bent, as it shows approx 1/4" "wobble". Know of someone who does this type of repair? To check this, I mounted a spindle in my bench vise, put the wheel on and give 'er a spin. thankx for your help Skolzie

    Who rebuilds T magnetos?

Looking to rebuild the mag assembly on my 14 T. I've been told of a gentleman who does this, and has recently moved to MN, from either Ind or ILL. If someone out there knows of him, or anyone else that does this, I would appreciate hearing from you. What I want is a good rebuild job at a...

    Gas lights, what fuel?

Royce, I'm not clear on the part of placing the cc only in the trough. Appears to me that this would be only a small amount of cc. The baskets I've viewed, have a series of holes in the bottom of the trough, to distribute the water. I have never used the trough type, as mine has the wire...

    Discarded upholstry

I'm doing "Preservation in Progress" on my 14 Touring, and I need some of the original seat covering panels and edge bead. (need not be 14). I have patched up and re-aligned all the upholstry, except the front seat cushion, and covered it with clear plastic. I have replaced the original...

    Carbide light trouble

I'm at again. In my line replacement, I did sub. a plastic T fitting and some short lengths of plastic tube,(for a condensate drain, ) and it worked well, for a while. My symptom now appears to be low gas pressure. I did the test with the actylene welder and it works rather well. Also I...

    14mm to 1/2" npt adapter

Hi, I did mine by taking the compression tester and a sparkplug, went to the nearest auto parts store. The most accomadateing (sp) clerk rummaged around somewhere in the back of the store, and came up with a ready made reducer, no modifying required. Kinda lucky, I thought. It works fine...

    Leaking Oil Font Base

Ron, I had the very same problem on the VERY SAME taillight! (I'm thinking that this is really neat!) Do you have a '14 T.? I acquired some fuel tank sealer for motorcycles, as it is available in a small quantity. Worked fine, so I used it on my sidelight fonts, excellent results. Skolzie

    Carbide light trouble

My copper tubing is plugging with condensation, and it dries up. Tried Zing, which is a cleaner for the alum tubes on my pontoon boat, but the stuff in the tubing is too thick. I am replacing the tubing, and need to know the configuration of the route. My fading memory keeps nagging at me...

    Water bubbles at spark plug

YMB Thanks for the info. i'm thinking that it is a compression leak at the sparkplug threads. I'll try the alum foil technique first. Skolzie

    Water bubbles at spark plug

1914 Touring. Recently noticed water bubbles appearing around the base of #1 spark plug, I'm thinking it to be condensation being forced out past leaking threads. Am I right, and what is the fix?
