Torque Tube Speed O gears, roller bearing grease

HI, I'm getting ready to put the torque tube back on the drive shaft and close it up. I was wondering what grease or lube to use on the roller bearing and the two gears in the torque tube? Is it just the regular bearing grease or is it something different. Thank you.

Pulled apart my rear axle. This what I found!!!

Thank you everyone. It was more than I had anticipated but I was correct in believing the axle broke. Didn't expect the carrier to have snapped. Time to source parts and do a rebuild. First axle rebuild for me. I've changed axle but never rebuilt them. Its just hard to find parts in the...

Pulled apart my rear axle. This what I found!!!

Honestly I don't know if its original or reproduction. It's just what I found in the axle after taking it apart. I've had the pickup for about 5 years. It was brought to Hawaii from Texas I believe. I might be the 4 or 5th owner over the years.

How can I jack up the pickup after the rear axle is removed???

HI, Yesterday I removed the rear axle from my 29 pickup. All went well with the one exception. The shackles on both axle sides didn't want to slide out. After an hour of pounding they came out. (yes i had a spring spreader on it.) The rear spring is still installed in the bed. The entire...
