Thanks for the feedback. I can't understand why I need an adapter. I had a stock '35 gauge installed in my old Offy heads with no problem and the fitting on the after-market gauge screws right into the head. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just not gettin' it.

I recently replaced my cylinder heads with polished Offy's. I could not get the temp gauge out of the old heads so I had to cut it. I replaced it with a new aftermarket gauge from Mac's. It screws right in but I can easily push the line with the bulb far into the engine. Mac's says it's not...
