I just acquired a Holley carb with the raised H on the throat of both the top and bottom halves. I think that makes it an early 28 to Sept 28. It has an integral secondary well (cast in). What are the the pros and cons of running it in a stock engine?

If you’re using an original (or repo) main jet, check the crimped connection of the tube to the body (hex portion). If it is not absolutely tight it will allow a drip to develop over 5-10 seconds.
