Yours came out pretty good. I think I might spray them with PB Blaster and put them in a ziploc bag for a while, and then try to wrench them apart. The crush washers are easy to get. Might even bead blast them and gun blue.

I'll check out the link. They are 3X plugs. I tried to wrench them apart without too much force but they are locked up.

I found four Champion X plugs that are used but in good condition. Probably not used for quite a few years. I want to clean them before using them. Is it best to clean them as a whole or disassemble and clean the parts?

I thought the cotters were s little long but I didnt see any scratches in the troughs so I left as is and replaced the cover.

New to me 26 T, I pulled my inspection plate off to check fir sludge and noticed that the conn rod caps look like they are pretty shiny new aluminum with modern electroplated cotter pins. I was wondering if they were more recently installed. Any idea? There wasnt any sludge in the plate.

When my parking brake lever is vertical, should I be able to push the car in neutral, or does the clutch pedal have to be pressed to the neutral position?
