looking for tires for 1947 mercury 1 ton

I need help putting my door glass in frame as rubber beading kinks @ radius. Seems ok on straight parts . Can you cut beading to get rid of kinks ?

Same issue on my 1947 truck where does wire enter after it comes across top of door

I will stay with cardboard as keeping everything as was. Thanks for help. I will check in the truck tomorrow for that interior light lens ring

that's exact same light on my truck .How does the bezel come off?

thanks. What holds light chrome bezel on ? The headliner was tore off around the light assy. At first the light wont switch on . then after running engine it will switch on. I can see ground wire @ light. It has good wire and contact.

Could some one know where the wire is attached for interior light? I follow across the top of pass door and also how to remove lens ? Does it twist off?

when does one use the throttle cable on my 1947 flathead,trying to get flatty started but will not kick .I have fuel, good battery ,good white spark @ new plugs .? I need new wiper vacuum hose ,do I plug this off @ carb,? Thanks

does one know where to buy cam and weights assy for my 1947 mercury 1 ton ?My distributor cam is worn a little [maybe .005 @ points]. Will this affect my timing? New cam would be the better option The wear is on 1 cam. The ford numbers 12210 [cam] 12187 is assy thanks
