1957 F-100 FWIW. Has anyone replaced their 1157 bulbs with equivalent in LED and are there an issues such as rapid flash, stop flashing or just stop illuminating etc??

I may see if I can look at the existing truck before he pulls the transmission and engine to either get an idea or whack the tunnel from it to weld into mine.

Car 4 speed. Guy has it and engine in a truck he picked up as junk from an estate that just wanted it gone. No real specifics just yet in which of the top loaders other than car. Same on engine, 289, 302 or 351. My truck has a screwed down transmission tunnel, checked that out last night.

Is there different height transmission tunnel used on the 4 speed floor shift model of these trucks? I may have a line on a small block that has a top load car 4 speed bolted to it and am wondering if the existing tunnel will work or if I will need to find the appropriate one or build...

The shutoff is still on the manifold but the cable controlled valve to regulate temp is missing.

Not sure if mine is correct or if somewhere down the line the heat control was deleted. I do have 3 holes on inner fender, passenger side where I believe there should be an adjusting valve with a cable that goes inside unless mine was so basic it is wide open when you're running heat/defrost...
