Re: Rare Model A Coupe ? More pics added.
Vanspeed hit the nail on the head with the first post. Slant Fordor cowl, doors married to a 30/31 Coupe rear.
My father had read about Edsels three window and wanted to build his own version.
A gentleman up near Seattle did the work.
Why the blue motor was probably because that was the only rattle can around.
My flash was being temperamental, but it looks like the curved tin above the door was all part of the coupe body.
There is a small section just above the slant part of the door that came from the donor sedan.
The door and post lines look a bit odd because there are no door latches installed.
The door sills are from the coupe body, up to the rear edge of the windshield post.
There was a quite a bit of work done to get the door contour to match the coupe post,
a fair bit of time and twisting was involved.
In the third pic you can see where we need to do a bit more work on the tin above the door,
as the passenger side bulges up a bit more than the drivers side.
Sorry I couldn't pull the car out and get better pics, but you can see it's
all the way back on the right and I'd have to move a bunch of stuff to get better pics.
Anyone need the back half of two slant windshield sedans?
Not sure why there were two involve in the project.
