Oh Mitch! Don't change and apologize! You are who you are!!(thats why I try to ignore you:)!! Pete

Pete under user cp go to edit ignore list and add my name.. Or if you would like to discuss things in person you know where I am at which is right around the corner from you... Apparently it makes you feel big to pile it on here behind the key board just like you did the last time...
If you feel it needs to get physical I would appreciate 6 weeks lead time to get this cast off...

Oh, yeah, Mitch!!???!!! I got ya' beat on the self-mutilation thing. Some moron who had installed the running board trim piece between the running board and the front fender on a car I was helping a friend repair did NOT install it straight or trim the bottom of the piece sticking out below. Sure enough! While sliding out from underneath during a clutch adjustment, this extremely sharp edge gashed across the top of my right hand (ever notice such injuries always happen to your dominant hand?). The cut was so deep that it virtually didn't bleed. That's dangerously deep! My wife with a medical background put steri-strips across the cut so that the edges of the cut would heal without leaving a lumpy welt or an ugly scar to match all the other ones on my hands. This was a little more than a month ago. Even though I heal very quickly, it took the better part of three weeks before I could trust using this hand again.
So, take heart, Mitch. You aren't alone with your wounded hand. No TRUE Model A guy has scar-free hands. :)

Injuries. All of us that work get them. 40 years ago I stuck a big *** screwdriver thru my right eye. Haven't trusted a flat blade screwdriver since.

Never mind I thought you were younger than that....I need to sleep with a clear conscience

... I told the wife it was more painful than giving birth Statements like that always rouses them up..
I told the wife something like that a couple weeks ago... didn't see her for a whole week, then this week as the swelling is receding, I can just see a little in the left eye...:)
Hahahaha!!!! :0)

NOT tryin' to OUTDO anyone, but has anyone run over yourself with a car, in your OWN shop & spent 6 months, tryin' to get your leg put back together? I still have a 14" Titanium rod inside my shin bone, so try to 'susplain thet @ Airport Security:confused: They treat me like a suspected CRINIMAL with a hidden WEAPON:eek:
It's NOT like in the Old Western Movies, where they lash on a couple of boards, with strips from a pretty Gals' petticoat & the guy's walking, with a slight limp, the very NEXT day & gettin' free drinks @ the saloon!
I slept with a coat hanger, to relieve the itching, & when the cast came off, it looked like somebody elses' leg, the hair had turned BLACK, my favorite color, & it smelled like a DEAD DOG:eek::eek::eek:---I'd better quit, Buster T. is gettin' NAUTIOUS

I once put a 1/4" drill bit through my hand thumb web to little finger trying to drill a rivet out. I thought I was being safe by holding the piece with vise-grips BUT NOOOO! if followed the pliers down to my hand and came out the other side. The guy I was helping almost fainted! So I guess you could say I too am thin skinned. See how I got that back on topic?

Next time the wife makes a comment about the pain of child birth, why then not so long after giving birth they want another child!!! Has anyone ever been kicked in the testicles and a week later say, I'll think I'll go get kicked in the testicles again!!!!!

I have multiple personality syndrome and the 14 women personalities are always in various stages of child birth woes with their constant aches and pains, but the 7 ol' fart men are always complaining of their arthritis and hemorrhoids so it all works out in the long run. The one good thing is that with the new transgender laws on the books, I can now legally go into the ladies room and see just how neat and clean it is and what the gals do. :-)

Every single lie of this is the truth, I swear. Do we have a Model A liar's Club at this site as I want to be able to compare my boo boos with everyone else, but many are probably too graphic. My dog, Sailor, gets so excited to see me each time I leave home and return, that he runs up and barks wildly as he lands a punch right to my groin in his excitement to see me. He never seems to miss, too. I have photos to prove it.......... Oh, well, too graphic to post. I have to hold up a chair to block him now days as it has become a habit with him. Like say, every single lie is the truth, I swear. I believe that actually offends me or at least my private parts now that I think about it........ :-)
