Wood Graining by Hydrographics

And a quick question about Grain-it, how does one get into the corners of the window frames? I am trying to remember what I saw and will go back and watch their video again-and probably answer my own question.

Mike

Grain-it makes small urethane tools that look like an oversize Comma. They call them Rockers. Those can be used. Another way is to use the large Roller and load the Roller on the plate perpendicular to the grain. Then use the edge of the Roller to push into the 90° corner on both sides. We then use a paint brush that we have cut the bristles back (-which makes them stiffer) to blend the ink on both side of the corner. Remember that in the real world if you were carving the Trim out of real wood, you would have a mitered corner, -so you are just replicating that look.
