What's your favorite thing about Model A's?

When I am around any Model A-AA (not hot rod) everything that is going on I forget about. If its mine or somebody else's it don't matter.

I think every reply is bang on the money. Nothing cures a bad day like a drive in my victoria. Model A people are great.

Personally i like the peace and quiet.. ya i know there not that quiet, but there is a serenity about driving my A, I put on 5200 last year and hope to do the same or more this year, just something about it when i drive and have my thoughts as company

I would put it as "honesty". The materials, the manufacturing processes, the craftsmanship, the pride in a product, the service rendered from that product, all of these speak to me of Henry's No-Nonsense qualities. The fact that all this and more are assembled in a piece of art that can actually transport you down the road is an experience like no other. It allows me to time-travel to a time when pride in one's work was commonplace and honesty was a common virtue. It takes me away from the absurdity of 2011 to a world that makes sense. It gives me peace.

The way it was built, simple and rugged. Overdesigned and obviously built to last. The car was built with modular construction (front end, rear end ,running train, body and frame) and can be rebuilt many times and be as good as new. An amazing accomplishment in the days before the computer. Shows what can be accomplished in a short time working together. I have great confidence driving mine.

I guess its the looks. I can remember liking them the first time I remember seeing them as a child. It came natural to me because no one else in my family cared. But I just loved that old squared off car with the bright shiny radiator.

That we can still find them and reserect them! Thats a 30 blind back in the weeds.

We used to be able to see A's in the woods around here up until about 20 years ago. I feel bad that new and younger members won't have the thrill of seeing cars out in the fields.

Quote" They say that your job is not work if you enjoy what you do. I am blessed (most days!!:D) that I don't have to go to "work" each day to make my living!!"

Aside from that, I like the design of the body with the straight vertical door posts and rear quarters..We can chop one in 2 days.

The fact that they are near eighty years old and very inexpensive for the average person to own and drive, not like real collector cars.

i drive mine as it is my only car ! i like everything about it . the look on peoples faces is worth the work ! ............... blows minds that it is my only car ! .... steve

I was driving down main street in Hannibal Mo. during the tourist season, and this tourist was taking a picture of his family...they were standing there smiling and ready for the pic...and he caught my coupe out of the corner of his eye. He immediately turned around and took a picture of the car. I thought it was kinda' neat...But I don't think his wife cared for it too much. (it was very hot)
