What's my 34 Pickup worth

You might also consider replacement cost versus sale price. Big gap because there are only so many items out there and it does not make any difference what you have in your pocket, you have to first find one to buy.

As the original question was what was it worth, but we can't help but give advice  . . . I'd guess low to mid 20's. It if has a 4 cylinder, probably less than a V8.

Non of us really want you to sell it, cause we're immediately putting ourselves in your shoes - but they are your shoes and it seems there is a precedent already set (other daughter). It is hard to imagine the costs of weddings and a one evening party - is as much (probably more) than all the effort, time and costs put into a vehicle like this. Just one day - poooof and its gone! Makes me sort of sick . . . but that is how it is. The same money put toward a down payment on a house - would be so much better spent. BUT - so many expectations are set for fancy weddings with a guest list of people you haven't seen for decades . . .

Do what makes you happy and if a wedding does . . . go for it!

B&S

When the call came to me for big wedding money I balked and said; "What about the student? Loan what about a house?" We agreed on small wedding money, and a nice share of the down on the house. Everybody was (and is) happy. The easy part, though, was the date was set at a year and a half.

Sit down with your daughter and explain the situation... I bet you will be blessed with her response.
I think I read somewhere, "Greater love have no man that to lay down his truck for a daughters wedding." That may not be an accurate quote.

Mostly depends on where it's marketed at...for low to mid 20's, I'd let it sit...I'm sure it'd be over a 30K truck in Ca.....assuming it's as nice as your pic shows.

IN Az.on CL not sure where you are located. shotgun is cheaper. Just kiddin but keep your truck unless you are tired of it.

1934 Ford pick up mod 40 odometer: 650 paint color : blue size : full-size type : pickup drive : rwd fuel : gas transmission : manual title status : clean cylinders : 8 cylinders

This is a frame off restoration done in 1989. It is an original California Truck. It is as it came from ford in 1934. In 2013 it won the Concourse 2nd place at the Lake Tahoe, Early Ford Club Meeting for pick up trucks. I have owned it since 2010 and have driven it 650 miles. Many parts will come with it. Tires are 2011, new fuel tank 2012, Carb and fuel pump 2010, Engine runs and idles perfectly no smoke at all. Brakes are all original

How about this; the future son in law buys the truck, you pay for the wedding. But I know, it's your daughter and that............ is priceless! Awfully nice truck anyway.

Take out a loan against it........... Do you have any idea of what the divorce rate is??
In the last 5 years I have given 4 rather hefty cash wedding presents. I might as well have thrown the money down a hole as only one is still married.

Nice truck!!

Nice truck!!

Now that is a man speaking from actual and recent experience! I can't argue at all with what he is saying . . .

I would not like to be in your shoes it a very nice truck..
The only thing I can say is if it was my daughter she would be very upset if I had to do that and wouldn't want the money from it.
