What tools and spares to carry?

I am sure it must have been mentioned - I must have missed them. But a FLASH LIGHT is rather important. Also, I also like to carry a magnetic 'reach' tool and one of those long flex wire 'grabber' tools, and electricians tape. You know Murphy's Law . . . . . He is out there, waiting . . . .

Also, on a long trip like yours, I like to make contact before hand, with a few Model A ers that I may be passing by on my way through. It is always nice to see other kindred spirits and they are handy and helpful should a problem arise. Most will appreciate the opportunity to meet and talk with you about your journey.

Yeah, picked up a 36 LED combo flashlight and extensible work light just today. The elec tape as well as duct tape are already on the list.

Just rejoined MAFCA and MARC (was a member of both decades ago) and am hoping a roster will arrive before I leave. Am already networking with people on my hobby forum and starting to hook up with some folks here at FordBarn.
