I'm new to the FordBarn forum and Model A's. I recently retired and decided I needed a new hobby, so I sold my old fishing boat (never was a good fisherman) and purchased a 1930 Model A Tudor. Let the fun begin!
While the body seems to be in good repair, the drive train probably needs work. I was fortunate to find one of the original owners who found the car after it had been sitting in a garage for over 20 years, and he shared with me all the work he did...but he never had to tear apart the engine or drive train. A lot of clutch chatter will be the first problem I attack.
Here's my first question...what is the disconnected tube in this photo? the original tube was cut off and the fitting remains in the intake manifold.
