I can not find it. I looked on top of the frame under the drivers side front door post about 10" either way. Can you help me?
 
If your Model A is a Canadian built car, after mid-way through 1929, they did not have the engine number stamped on the frame. Also a Canadian built Model A did not have a Data Plate, although the 4 holes for it were on the firewall
 
Our '29 Special was a complete (together), running vehicle when we brought it from MI to DE, and DMV said they needed to see the number to verify the information on the title. That began the process to find the frame stamp.. which led to the decision to begin restoration, after-all, driver side was already off.! Never did find the complete number.. but DMV gave us a nice VIN stamp for our door-frame.! At least I drove it from the car trailer to the garage..
