Turn signal

I just intaller flashers in Model T. Didn't want stalk on column so I made up from scratch and put a buzzer so I can hear it so as not to leave it on. I got a 550 3 terminal flasher That has X,L,and P. X is 12v in, L is load to lights and P is pilot light. I get no power to P. I was using old flasher and thought it was bad so I bought a new one. It has no power to P either. I put 1 wire of buzzer to P and other to ground. I put a light in place of the buzzer, still no workie.I fixed one up awhile back and it worked good but don't remember how I wired it but I would think I did it this way as this is logical. Maybe not or maybe I don't have exactly same flasher even though it was 3 prong also with X,L,and P.

Any Ideas what to do to get it to work short of getting another buzzer and connecting parallel with lights, 1 for right and 1 left

This isn't going to be much help but I'm having a situation with similarities. 6 volt system 1129 (21cp) bulbs. There is an indicator light on the switch which is wired to the P terminal to show it's on. Column mounted t/s switch. The indicator lamp either stays on or flashes intermitently even though the body turn signal lights are flashing normally. Actually the body lights flash rather quickly but steadily. The indicator light has a mind of it's own. Switch is grounded. Posted on the other Forum for answers and the general consensus was the flasher. As the one I have is from Mac's and I don't see any others listed in my other parts books I'll probably let it go. (don't want to order the same make flasher from another parts house and get the same result). Why not hook your buzzer to the L terminal on the flasher? It should buzz whenever the flasher is working and it won't affect the body lamp operation. Just an idea without further cost to you.

Right Red. The problem is these guys sell from the same manufacturers. I'd like to try another brand flasher to see if there's any difference.
