I have a spare oil pan dipper tray that has four 3/32 holes drilled at the lowest point of each reservoir; this I don't understand.
Never just swedge the oil pan drain plug insert onto the oil pan. They will eventually slip when trying to remove the drain plug; just my experience.

Don't assume you're going to remember where you put stuff--special tools, small parts, etc.
Never take it apart without taking LOTS OF PICTURES!!!
Purdy,I know you wurry about me with my "modern" points, so, JUST FOR YOU, I'm gonna' TAP-TAP-TAP & tighten thet wobbly pivot post in my old plate & put original points & condensor back in Minerva's old distributor thet's going into Vermin's empty distributor hole!If you are smart, you can avoid a lot of problems by using only original style points and the short proof condenser made bt A&L !!!!!!!
Sounds like a Road Runner cartoon.
I learned to wear leather gloves when trying to remove a tire from a rim by using a hammer and chisel.![]()
