Jack up a rear wheel, start the engine, and apply the brakes. Worked for me!Other than the rocking trick, how to unstick a clutch. Thanks
I wonder if this would work: With clutch inspection cover off, & clutch pushed in, hit the clutch disc splined center with a long skinny drift & a hammer? (If there's enough room??) Bill W.
Well, Brent, it was just a thought, you noticed I said, "IF THERE WAS ROOM"???WOW ....R E A L L Y?????
First, with the clutch disc recessed inside of the flywheel (see below), the chances of getting to it are pretty near non-existent, but more importantly it has to do with damaging an input shaft bearing or pilot bearing hitting it in that direction. More so, I fail to see how this could even seem plausible as a possibility to free stuck linings.
Karsyn, please overlook the advice of some here as they clearly are not versed in the 'advice' they give!!

I unstuck a clutch on a car that sat for 2 years using brake clean sprayed all over the clutch area. This was after the common method of driving the car around with the clutch pedal depressed with no results. The brake clean worked right away.
Perhaps this forum should be renamed "Brents". It seems you seldom miss a chance to share your expertise, and wisdom with us little people!
This entire comment by Brent could have been handled in such a way as to not attack or belittle others. It is a shame that it was not handled differently.
