Standard issue air cleaner 34

I know that if I was looking for a correct 1934 air cleaner, I would want the one that "JM 35 Sedan" pictured in post #5. It was also used into 1935-36.

Hate to hi-jack, but I have one similar to the '34 but a third as deep. What is this?

Dunno what it is but I do know it is not for a 34 ford . Remember these are outsourced parts and there were other makes of cars around .

Good eye deuce lover. I don't have a stromberg to compare it to but I just tried to fit it to a 94 and it is about 1/4" too small. Guess I should've tried that sooner.

I was given an Air Cleaner by a guy who has a 1934 Plymouth 4 Dr, the AC has the ribs on the top , just like some Ford AC here ,but the carb size opening is smaller than Ford Strongberg carbs .. Just like Binx's pictures ..

Could possibly be for a 6 cyl ford 41-51 they had a a slightly smaller carb neck. Lets here from the 6 banger guys.:) ken ct.

Gary: Your air cleaner is the "Heavy Duty" United air cleaner first used by Ford in mid year 35 and carried over year to year after, should be a large "U" stamped into the bottom. The air breather is 35-36 style Ford.
