I have a local powder-coater who has the system,, Thinking it might be a good thing..

Who cares if Leno made money off of this demo? He has done a number of good things for the hobby and has shared ideas with us (and he didn't charge us). I appreciate his helpfulness. How many "big time", rich, uppity car collectors have done anything for us poor blokes.

Don't know why the German guy who sells the stuff would pay Leno to pitch it in English. The guy's website is only in German and I can't even see where you can buy the stuff on it. http://www.chromesolutions.de/ Wonder where you can really get it??

As with any paint, prep is the key. My buddy did on some older 50 C---- bumpers - not really shiney but it looks pretty good. I'll try and get some pics at some point and post them.

Finally got over to visit with them.. They don't like to do bumpers as the clear coat chips easily etc.. Interior chrome works fine.. They need prep work to 1600.

I will probably have them do some power window bezels, maybe the rear ash trays etc.
