is there any special way of getting the spark plug wires through the tubes or can a guy buy the wires already in the tubes. thanks, bill
woodie>>>It doesn't conduct electricity and will eventually evaporate. Not to step on anyones toes, I don't think I would use WD-40 as a lube.>>>
Hmmmm? WD-40 also doesn't conduct electricity and will eventually evaporate. Is its flammability the problem that the electrician's pulling compound doesn't have?

Speaking of spark plug wires. All these years and never noticed that each of the small metal clips that are on the end of each wire and fit into the distributor, are numbered according to the piston they go to. that is of course on original ones. All these years lol
I know many will say I overstuffed my tubes but I fit 7MM wires along with the coil wire through my tubes. (My coil is mounted on my firewall) I used Vaseline and pulled with an electrical wire that I fed through with a long zip tie. I also ran my temp sending wires through the front of engine and back to other side to clean up the looks of the engine. Most of this was after thought and the first four wires per tube where fairly easy, my plug wires were not cut to length and came without ends and gave me the option to turn the wires so all the ends looked the same and the manufacture writing is in the same spot on each one.
I went through a lot of trouble for this small detail and not one person has ever noticed yet!
Ya know, I have installed countless wires in to countless tubes. Not once did I find the need for a lubricant or strings or any other aid.Hmmmm? Looking at the water-based ingredients in of some of these wire pulling lubes and considering their extravagant price, I'm wondering if bulk personal lubes might work just as well plus you can get some of those with different flavors! 8^)
