hi,
Marco showed me a way to replace my aftermarket "boots" for gear-shift and E-brake lever by simply cutting holes in a piece of black rubber matting and fitting around the base of the two levers, as a seal.
I went to Menards and Carquest and they looked at me like I was crazy, told me to go to a roofing supply and buy a ROLL.
Anyone know where you can simply buy a piece of ~8inch square 1/8" thick rubber?
Have not tried the local Ace hardware store yet, chance they may have the 'odd' piece. Otherwise considered cutting up an old tire inner tube.
thanks!
