Henry,Nice Guy, Nice car ,

To show your picture larger than the 800 X 600 pixels that you can upload you need to save your picture to an online service. I use PhotoBucket: Then copy your picture from that website and paste it into your FordBarn post. Then it will show as big as the website you copied it from showed it. PhotoBucket limits width to about 1200 pixels but that's more than big enough to see.

First one Avatar! The rest after last winter total rebuild as a 40's 50's build. Love the car now!

Is that a weird shadow or a ponytail ?
296V. Is that engine in a car? If so how does it go? That engine intrigues me. I had a 296 back in the 50's. I had an Almquest cam, 3 94, Lincoln converted dist, I used 1/8LC pistons instead 3/16 pistons, the pistons popped up over the top, had to dome the heads, Had wicked compression. that engine was awsome in a 39 coupe. Walt

Just my little banger going back into the deuce, finally.
DONE4, that a beautifull B engine. Is it in a car? What's in the engine? Does it have the cast counterweight crank or the later pressed on counterweights? What's that head, nice job polishing. Thanks Walt

Way to go Henry! Love it! I always thought your car was black! The fresh air heater is a nice accessory.

For most of my road trip pictures I have to turn the brightness down to increase the contrast and enrich the colors. That always makes Old Henry look black. His real color is the original monsoon maroon but he's been called brown, chocolate, purple, black, and my favorite - eggplant - depending on the time of day and lighting.

Fresh air heater is very nice. Totally silent but still roasts us out if we want it to and keeps the windows from fogging up.

Bud, my avatar is a drawing (used in an ad in '39) of our '39 Lincoln Zephyr Convertible Club Coupe.:) The actual car is in the process of restoration and the body is partly in primer with the rest of it still covered in a 1948 Cadillac dark green color that was painted by Earl Schibe (spelling) on Long Island in 1958... Here's a photo of the "Leper car"...LOL;)
