Short term Memory Loss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best first aid for burns is cold water or ice. Seems that I read somewhere that the burn continues after the initial burn. Immersing the burn area in cold water or ice instantly stops the burning process and initiates healing. Never ever use butter or grease!! Oils lock in contaminates and cause infections.

Bruce,
I don't know But I think by now (40 years )you can stop taking the ointment. LOL LOL

I had an old welder tell me to always mark any workpiece "HOT" with soapstone when finished. It provides a visual clue that the part is hot PLUS it makes you think specifically about the part being hot. Haven't picked up a hot piece of iron since then - 44 years ago. FWIW By the way, the cold water treatment works for me. Gets the heat out PDQ.
