R RPMREX Member Jul 5, 2011 #1 Is there a trick to installing raven rivets (split rivets)? Thanks! Rex
Tom Wesenberg Well-known member Jul 6, 2011 #3 I use a scratch awl to poke a hole in the lacing for the rivets, then use a thin flat screwdriver to start the spread. Use a plier to finish the spread. You can modify one plier jaw by using a Dremel to give the rivet legs a nice curl as original.
