I lost the clutch in the Coupe on the way to Michigan and I'm pulling the engine / ****** instead of dropping the rear end. Any advise on doing so, and what else should I look at while I have things apart?
first time model a eng puller, just finished, after all electrical connections, grill and rad pulled, it was a 45 min job for a 70 yr old. Hardest thing was the 4 3/4 mount bolts on the side. Had to clear all the grease away, then used my 1/4 drive with adapter to 3/4 size socket. went like a charm. Then there are the pedals. Just another 1st time experience.![]()
Next time do the same thing with the 1/4" adapter and socket but get yourself a 1/4" air ratchet and see how things go. I couldn't do without mine for this.first time model a eng puller, just finished, after all electrical connections, grill and rad pulled, it was a 45 min job for a 70 yr old.
