Is anyone actually restoring these now?
Thank you all for the kind words. Almost no new parts are available so they are a lot of work, but yes I restore both 3 and 5 brush powerhouse generators and can install an EVR too. I'll bring a couple to model A days at the Gilmore and fall Hershey.

What are the parts for which supply is most constrained? I assume the armature and the little Bakelite ring?
I have a little experience sourcing cheap small springs. If you need those I might could find them. The post insulator could possibly be 3D printed.
along with a FORD script front rubber floor mat, gee those are so cool!! ... but that reproduction run was small and very short lived.
I mentioned earlier that my son has 3D printed a few parts for me. This is his latest - a Powerhouse terminal post insulator. This fits in the case from the inside. Original bakekite on the left, 3D version on the right.
